One of the roommates of the man who sent bombs to several people via packages in Austin, Texas, is being treated as a person of interest in the case.
Both of Mark Anthony Conditt’s roommates were taken into questioning, with both of them being released Wednesday of last week. However, one of them is still being requested for further questioning. Conditt is believed to have killed 2 people and injured 5 more with the series of bombs he sent disguised as packages.
“If you have knowledge of an activity like that, you have a duty to report that, and if you don’t and you have knowledge, you can actually be complicit in the conspiracy,” House Committee on Homeland Security Chair McCaul said.
