Major aviation company Boeing has reportedly been hit by the WannaCry virus, and is fearing that it could cripple some of their jet production.

The virus locks users out of their computers until they pay a fee or another type of ransom. Mike VanderWel, a Boeing chief engineer, sent out a memo for “all hands on deck.” He compares the issue posed by the virus to that of the 2013 exploding battery crisis that the company dealt with, which took 3 months to fix.
