One person was arrested after Marymount University in Arlington was evacuated due to a bomb threat on Sunday morning, police said. Officials told the public to evacuate the campus.

About an hour later, police announced they had taken a suspect into custody. K-9 units were brought in to sweep the scene. The threat was made over social media, a Marymount spokesperson said. Although it is April Fools’ Day, Arlington and campus police are fully investigating the threat.
