Scott Bratton, a lawyer at the Magaret W. Wong & Associates immigration law firm, has told Daily Mail that Irish citizen Conor McGregor, the UFC champion who is being charged with assault and criminal mischief, may not be allowed to remain in the United States if he is convicted.

“If he’s convicted of a crime of moral turpitude, it could have implications for his ability to come back, and it may make it very difficult to come back’ to the US.”

Bratton went on to say that an assault with aggravating factors often can be considered a crime of moral aptitude.

Bratton is not connected to the case.
