At least four people have been killed during a soccer match in southern Somalia, according to Voice of America.

An improvised explosive device went off “during the semifinal of a local soccer team’s cup,” according to local officials.

In addition to the four that were killed, at least 13 people were also injured.

The bomb had been placed in a VIP section “with the intention of harming the local authorities.”
