Around 12,000 people were evacuated in southern Germany after the discovery of a WWII bomb.

The bomb has reportedly been defused by explosives experts. The bomb, which weighed around 1,200 pounds, was found in a construction site.

This was the third bomb found and disarmed in the area in recent weeks, and authorities say that the area will have to be more closely monitored.
