Legendary NPR newscaster Carl Kasell has died at the age of 84, after a lifetime of on-air newscasting.

Kasell had long been a judge and scorekeeper on the NPR news quiz show “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!” as well as hosting the “Morning Edition” for well over three decades. He died due to complications from Alzheimer’s Disease at his home in Potomac, Maryland.
