A San Francisco police officer was reportedly hit by a driver who then fled the area in the city’s Tenderloin neighborhood.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area. The officer was taken to a nearby hospital but their condition is unknown. They are currently looking for a Mercedes that was involved in the incident.
