7 students reportedly slit their wrists after taking out the blades from pencil sharpeners at an elementary school in Maryland.

The incident reportedly occurred before Spring Break, but was not reported until now. A crisis counseling team was brought to the school to talk to the students and their families. All of the students were seen by the nurse and the cuts were not severe enough to call emergency services.

The incident is believed to have possibly been due to bullying.
