Hernando County Commissioner Nick Nicholson, 71, has been arrested on prostitution charges in Florida.

The man was charged with one count of operating a location for the purpose of lewdness, assignation or prostitution and two counts of purchasing services from any person engaged in prostitution. The incident stems from an incident earlier this year involving Nicholson, his wife, and another couple.

Nicholson allegedly let Kendel and Valerie Surette stay at his home, feeding them as well, as long as he was allowed to have sex with Valerie on Thursdays and Saturdays. On Tuesdays, he paid the Surettes $100 and on Saturdays $200.
