A southern Indiana mother admitted she molested her young daughter and shared video of the sex acts for money to buy drugs.
The children’s father suspected something was wrong and went through Jaime Simms’ phone. That’s when he found the inappropriate videos and immediately called the police. “I feel sick. I felt sick since I found out,” the man said. On Simms’ phone, the father said he found videos of her with their 3-year-old daughter.
Simms admitted to police that she recorded the videos to sell for drug money. She estimated she made about $200 from the videos, which she used to buy personal items and drugs. She is now facing child molestation and child pornography charges.
Investigators are still reviewing evidence to determine if more charges will be filed or if there are other victims. Simms is due in court on Thursday.
