A Connecticut woman has returned to a normal weight and is recovering after she underwent a surgery to remove a 132 pounds ovarian tumor.

The 38-year-old woman began gaining weight rapidly in the beginning of this year, gaining around 10 pounds a week over a two months span. She became unable to eat or move because of the sheer size of the tumor, forcing the emergency surgery.

The tumor was removed over a 5 hour surgery that included a restructuring of her digestive tract in order to lessen any further need for more surgeries.
