At least 128 people are dead and more than 150 injured after a suicide bombing during a campaign rally in Pakistan.

The campaign rally, which was well attended, was for Siraj Raisani of the Balochistan Awami party. The attacker reportedly was in the middle of a compound when the bomb detonated, sending debris and body parts flying, according to local media. ISIS has claimed the attack.

A campaign convoy of another candidate was attacked earlier in the day, but the candidate was uninjured. The string of attacks has followed an election that has been surrounded by controversy and the conviction of the former Prime Minister by an anti-corruption court.
