NASCAR Chairman and CEO Brian France has been arrested on charges of DUI and possession of oxycodone after he was pulled over in Sag Harbor, New York, on Sunday evening.
France’s blood alcohol level was allegedly over twice the legal limit, and police found oxycodone pills in his possession.
NASCAR has released a statement saying, We are aware of an incident that occurred last night and are in the process of gathering information.” “We take this as a serious matter and will issue a statement after we have all of the facts.”
