A chemical manufacturer plant in Spalding County, Georgia, has been evacuated after an explosion.

One person was taken to the hospital with third-degree burns. The explosion reportedly occurred in the mixing room of the facility. The Griffin Fire Department confirms it is an “all hands on deck” situation.
