George Salt of Manchester, England, reportedly grieved at the wrong headstone for the last 30 years due to an error by the cemetery.

Salt would visit the grave for his daughter, who died two days after he birth, twice a year for the last 30 years. However, he recently arrived to the site, only to discover that the headstone was gone. He investigated and then found that by some error, the headstone was placed in the wrong spot, an error that was only recently corrected.

He then found the headstone at a public lot that contained 16 others. The cemetery has apologized to Salt, but say they do not know how the error occurred.
