The FBI has launched a probe into a cyber attack that was levied against a congressional campaign in California.

David Min, a Democratic candidate for the House of Representatives, had his election campaign computer hacked into earlier in the year. Min ended up losing in the June primary. It is unclear who may have been behind the attack, or what their motives may have been, but it highlights an ongoing concern over cybersecurity surrounding political campaigns.

This most recent cyberattack follows a report last week that another California candidate had their election campaign hacked in a neighboring district.
