A Rhode Island inmate has been discovered to be running a crack cocaine distribution ring from inside of prison.

Agents from ATF also arrested 3 others who were involved in the drug ring. 29-year-old James Gomes would reportedly contact his mother about the sales, who would then collect money from the distribution, taking a portion for herself, and then put the rest into Gomes’ prison account.

The mother and son are accused of selling about 112 grams of crack cocaine with 28-year old Joshua Moore and 33-year old Gerald Price.
