Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook is expected to miss the entire preseason and possibly multiple regular-season games after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery.

Westbrook has reportedly dealt with some inflammation as well as stiffness in his right knee. He elected to have the preemptive surgery rather than potentially have issues during the season. He will be reevaluated in 4 weeks, potentially clearing him to play in the season opener.
