A large brush fire in Castaic, California, has led to evaucations, according to officials. The Charlie Fire was reported around 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the 31000 block of Charlie Canyon Road.

By 5 p.m., the fire had grown to 1,200 acres.

“Evacuation orders were issued for San Francisquito from Tapia to Dry Gulch, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.”
