A Texas judge reportedly released 7 juvenile defendants after he lost in Tuesday’s election.

Republican Judge Glenn Devlin released the defendants, including some that committed violent crimes, after asking them if they planned to kill anybody.

Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg has condemned the jurist’s actions.

She said in a statement: “We oppose the wholesale release of violent offenders at any age; this could endanger the public.”

Multiple activist groups have since asked for an investigation to be launched into the releases.
