Wisconsin deputies are investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed a kangaroo. On Tuesday, deputies were called to Valley Rd in Waukechon. Lulu the kangaroo had gone missing from her home a few days prior to the crash.

A man spotted Lulu near the intersection and tried to get her to come closer. That’s when a late model truck approached and the man waved his arms to try to get the driver’s attention but was unsuccessful. The driver’s side mirror hit the man in the chest and the truck ran over his left foot. The driver also struck Lulu, who was killed in the crash. The man said the driver of the truck stopped a distance down the road and said, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.” The driver left the scene.
